This Ottawa course teaches CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). CPR is a combination of breathing and chest compressions. CPR is the same as Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). All CPR classes also include AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification

You can take a CPR/AED class by itself or in combination with Emergency or Standard First Aid.

CPR A is for Adult casualties. It is designed to help you respond when someone age 8yrs and older has a respiratory or cardiac emergency. The course is intended for the general public, rescuers or designated workplace rescuers.

CPR C is for Adult, Child, and Baby casualties. It is designed to help you respond when someone of any age has a respiratory or cardiac emergency. A highly recommended course. The course is intended for the general public, Health care providers, designated workplace First Aid teams, lifeguards, police, fire fighters, and other first responders.
